Bieber to make season debut for Toronto

NEWS: RHP Shane Bieber is expected to be reinstated from the 60-day IL and start Friday's game.

BHQ SPIN: Bieber has been out since last season due to Tommy John surgery on his right elbow. He has pitched well in his rehab starts, but it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. Bieber was shut down in early June as he experienced elbow discomfort during his ramp up. In the minors this season Bieber has thrown 29 innings while striking out 37 batters, walking 3, and his velocity is up a tick from his last healthy season.
