NEWS: The Padres placed 2B Xander Bogaerts on the 10-day IL with a fractured left shoulder. OF David Peralta was recalled from Triple-A El Paso to replace Bogaerts on the roster.

BHQ SPIN: Bogaerts is expected to be out at least two months, but is not expected to require surgery according to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune. Prior to being injured, Bogaerts had started 44 of the Padres 50 games at 2B.
