Braves turn to d'Arnaud with Murphy out

NEWS: Atlanta placed catcher Sean Murphy on the IL with an oblique injury and recalled Chadwick Tromp to serve as a back-up to Travis d'Arnaud.
IMPACT: Medium 
BHQ SPIN: Tests are pending to determine the seriousness of Murphy’s injury. For now, we’ve dropped his projected playing time from 75% to 65%. We’ve bumped d’Arnaud up 5% and given Tromp 5%. The expectation is that d’Arnaud will play five or six times per week while Murphy is recovering. In 2023, d’Arnaud batted .215 over 306 plate appearances, but his xBA was a more respectable .242 and his xPX was 125.
