Burnes rejoins DBacks rotation

NEWS: Arizona activated RHP Corbin Burnes from the 60-day IL, recalled RHP Kade Strowd from the minors, and optioned RHP Gerardo Carrillo and LHP Jose Cabrera to the minors.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: Burnes missed the entire season recovering from Tommy John surgery and made his return to the Majors in his first start since June of 2025. The DBacks will ease him into action to avoid any complications in his recovery and get him prepared for a potential playoff run, but they are heavily committed to his future after he signed a six-year, $210 million contract in the 2024-25 offseason. Strowd will assist out of the bullpen in low-leverage situations.
