NEWS: Rookie OF Cam Smith has made the Opening Day roster and will start in RF for the new-look Astros lineup.

BHQ SPIN: Spring phenom Smith, with just over 130 minor league AB to his name, will be the starting RF for the Astros on Thursday. This is a part of a mini-makeover of Houston’s starting position players that includes Jose Altuve as the regular left fielder and Mauricio Dubón getting most of the AB at second base. We’ve upgraded overall PT shares for Smith (80%) and Dubón (75%) and trimmed back the same for OF Chas McCormick (15%), who now becomes the backup center fielder.
