Crow-Armstrong, Canario to fill in for Bellinger

NEWS: Chicago placed OF Cody Bellinger on the 10-Day IL with a fractured finger and recalled OF Alexander Canario from AAA-Iowa.

BHQ SPIN: Bellinger suffered a fractured left middle finger after getting hit in the hand by a pitch on Wednesday night and is currently without a timetable to return. Before the injury, Bellinger had been filling an everyday role splitting time between right field, designated hitter, and center field. To take Bellinger’s place on the roster, Chicago recalled Canario, who should at least make up the weak side of a platoon with Pete Crow-Armstrong in center field. Canario could also have an oppOrtunity to receive some playing time against right-handed starters...
