NEWS: Boston 3B Rafael Devers is likely done for the season due to injuries to both shoulders.

BHQ SPIN: Manager Alex Cora reported that Devers would undergo an MRI on his right shoulder on September 21 in the immediate aftermath of an extra-inning loss to the Twins, which effectively eliminated the Red Sox from playoff contention. During the game, the injury noticeably affected Devers’ throwing, and Cora said he “felt it” while hitting inside prior to the game as well.
