NEWS: Seranthony Domínguez recorded his third consecutive save on Sunday.

BHQ SPIN: While Baltimore has noted publicly that Craig Kimbrel’s removal from the closer role was a temporary measure to get him back on track and has declined to name a closer, Domínguez has now recorded three consecutive saves and appears to be running away with the closer job. Since being acquired by Baltimore, Domínguez has been dominant (10.1 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 13 K, 3 BB). His strong stretch has come while Kimbrel continues to struggle while working in lower-leverage spots (4 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 4 K, 5 BB in August).
