Eflin retakes the mound for O's

NEWS: Baltimore is expected to reinstate RHP Zach Eflin from the 15-Day IL.

BHQ SPIN: Baltimore announced on Tuesday that Eflin will be reinstated from the IL to start Wednesday’s game. The right-handed had been sidelined since June 28 due to lower back discomfort m. Brandon Young, who started Tuesday’s game, is the most likely candidate to lose his rotation spot upon Eflin’s return. However, with Eflin, Charlie Morton, and Tomoyuki Sugano all considered trade candidates and with Baltimore having a doubleheader early next week, it’s possible that Young could stick around.
