NEWS: 1B Christian Encarnacion-Strand is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a broken wrist.

BHQ SPIN: Encarnacion-Strand (-20%) will be out for the forseeable future - and this injury might help explain his struggles at the dish so far. Over 123 PA, he’s slashing .190/.220/.293 with just 2 HR (64 xPX), which has been a disappointing follow-up to his 2023 debut last season (.789 OPS, 122 xPX). The Reds have re-signed Mike Ford (+15%), who has been in and out of the organization over the past few months. Ford’s pop (career 575 PA, .743 OPS, 133 PX) could be an option at 1B while the club waits for Encarnacion-Strand to recover. Santiago Espinal (+5%) has also filled in at 1B for Cincinnati...
