NEWS: 1B Christian Encarnacion-Strand was activated from the injured list (back inflammation).
IMPACT: HIgh 
BHQ SPIN: Encarnacion-Strand (+15%) was activated on Friday, starting that game at first base and Saturday’s game at third. Encarnacion-Strand had struggled severely prior to his IL stint, posting a paltry .481 OPS in 60 PA. However, he had been swinging a hot bat during his rehab stint, which immediately translated to MLB pitching as he homered in each of his first two games back. We’ll see how his PT fits in with the Reds’ plethora of mix-and-match options over the next few weeks.
