In Pasquantino’s absence, Salvador Perez started at first base on Friday, where he is expected to be the team’s primary option down the stretch. With Perez seeing more time at first base, Freddy Fermin is expected to get the majority of starts at catcher. Besides Perez, the most likely other player to get time at first base is Nick Loftin, who Kansas City recalled on Friday as a corresponding move for Pasquantino’s IL...
