NEWS: The Tigers activated RHP Kyle Finnegan from the 10-day IL; LHP Bailey Horn was optioned to AAA-Toledo in a corresponding move.

BHQ SPIN: Kyle Finnegan has missed the entire month of September thus far, but the Tigers are ready to welcome back one of their big deadline acquisitions just in time for a playoff run. Finnegan is fully recovered from the right adductor strain that left him on the sidelines. He is displaying incrementally improved skills across the board (48 GB%, 16 K-BB%, 68 FpK%) which has pushed his xERA to 3.57, his best mark since 2022.
