NEWS: Milwaukee placed OF Jackson Chourio on the 10-day IL with a hand fracture.
IMPACT: Medium
BHQ SPIN: Chourio had been hit in the hand during a WBC exhibition game on March 4 and after dealing with lingering soreness, a MRI found a hairline fracture. Even with that fracture, Chourio continued to play in the WBC and played well this spring. The team estimates Chourio will be out for two to four weeks. Without Chourio to roam the outfield, 1B/OF Jake Bauers and OF Brandon Lockridge are likely to fill in. Bauers put up video game numbers this spring (18 hits and 7 HRs in 39 ABs) and had two hits with a HR on Opening Day. That performance could keep his bat in the lineup against right handed pitching....
