NEWS: The Astros reshuffled their OF, sending down Jake Meyers and Joey Loperfido to Triple-A promoting Zach Dezenzo and activating LaMonte Wade Jr. from the 10-day IL.

BHQ SPIN: Meyers had been losing playing time over the course of the season, where the decline of his once-stellar CF defense couldn’t make up for the listless bat (.199/.257/.309 slash line). This secures time over the short-term for Brice Matthews and Taylor Trammell in CF. Wade has recovered from a hamstring injury and will see strong-side platoon work in LF, perhaps with Dezenzo, who slashed .264/.417./.363 with 2 HR and 9 SB in the minors.
