Iglesias likely to fill in for Bogaerts in SD

NEWS: The Padres placed SS Xander Bogaerts on the 10-day IL with a non-displaced fracture in his left foot. The Padres recalled SS Mason McCoy from Triple-A El Paso in a corresponding move.

BHQ SPIN: Bogaerts suffered the injury when he fouled a pitch off his foot on Wednesday, August 27 and now could be out for most, if not all, of the rest of the regular season. Bogaerts (-65% PT at SS) has started all but five of the Padres games this season. He struggled a little bit at the plate through the first two months of the season, but since June 1 has hit .277/.333/.422 with 7 of his 10 HR. McCoy is hitless in 5 PA with the Padres this season, but hit .272/.354/.450 with 11 HR and 17 SB in 386 PA...
