NEWS: Toronto Blue Jays’ RHP Cody Ponce was carted off the field due to a right knee injury; RHP Lazardo Estrada was recalled from AAA-Buffalo.

BHQ SPIN: Ponce was making his first Major League Baseball appearance since 2021 after four seasons in the far east; first playing in the NPB in Japan and last season in the KBO in Korea. Ponce was fielding a weakly hit ground ball when he pulled up lame.
