NEWS: Seattle plans to call up LHP Kade Anderson from AA-Arkansas to start on August 22.

BHQ SPIN: Anderson has clearly dominated in Double-A thus far in 2026, where he has a 1.06 ERA and 0.64 WHIP along with 135 strikeouts in 93 innings. He will skip Triple-A and head right into a start against the Chicago Cubs. Arguably the top pitching prospect in the majors, he has shown excellent command and three plus pitches. We’ve had Anderson set to 5.5% of innings since the trade deadline and will adjust once we have a clearer idea of what the Mariners plan to do with the rotation now that Anderson is included.
