NEWS: Kansas City placed 1B Vinnie Pasquantino on the 10-Day IL and recalled OF John Rave from AAA-Omaha

BHQ SPIN: Initial estimates are that Pasquantino should miss between 4-6 weeks for a fractured right hamate bone. With Pasquantino sidelined on Sunday, Jac Caglianone took his place at first base. The expectation is that Caglianone should get the majority of at-bats at first base, which opens up playing time in a Kansas City outfield that was already in flux due to Kyle Isbel’s injury. Kameron Misner, who started his fourth consecutive game in center field on Sunday, looks to be locked into at least a strong side platoon role.
