NEWS: RHP Jon Gray’s fractured wrist, LHP Cody Bradford's sore left elbow leaves the Rangers’ rotation short two regulars to open 2025.

BHQ SPIN: Gray was struck in the right wrist by a line drive in Friday night’s exhibition vs. SD. TEX Mgr Bruce Bochy said X-rays revealed the fracture. Bochy had little additional information, but it’s clear Gray will be shelved for a while. Meanwhile, Bradford too was a lock to open in the TEX rotation before the injury, but he won’t be ready for Opening Day. Fortunately in this case, imaging was negative on Bradford’s elbow, and the Rangers expect he’ll only be shut down for about 10 days. But that means he’ll miss at least the first week or...
