NEWS: Nick Lodolo will return from the IL on April 13 to debut vs. the Chicago White Sox.

BHQ SPIN: The Reds welcome back Lodolo, who made his last start on May 6th of 2023. Early in spring training, there were talks of Andrew Abbott being the odd man out when Lodolo returned. However, it’s Nick Martinez’s spot in the rotation that’s getting skipped to make room for Lodolo. While both pitchers (Abbott and Martinez) had performed poorly over their first couple turns, Abbott took a step forward with his last start against the White Sox (7 IP, 1 ER, 4 K).
