Mariners activate Raleigh and Crawford, lose Arozarena

NEWS: Seattle activated C Cal Raleigh and SS J.P. Crawford from the 10-day IL. The team also placed OF Randy Arozarena on the 10-day IL and recalled Curtis Washington Jr. from Everett (A+).

BHQ SPIN: Raleigh had spent just over a month on the IL with an oblique strain. The injury did likely contribute some to his rough start to the 2026 season, where he was hitting .165 with only seven HRs over his 164 ABs. Crawford returns after the minimum time on the IL. Thus far in 2026 with his 10 HRs, he has turned back the clock to 2023, which was the last time he had above average power and hit 19 HRs. Aronzarena has a hamstring strain, but the team expects him to only be on the IL for a minimum stay....
