NEWS: Eury Pérez will undergo Tommy John surgery and miss at the very least the rest of the 2024 season.

BHQ SPIN: Perez started the season with what were thought to be minor issues, but while throwing earlier this week, he experienced elbow soreness. In short order, exams diagnosed the issue, and Tommy John surgery is scheduled for early next week. As we’ve been discussing all spring, Miami’s starting rotation has been decimated by injuries.
