Megill fills in for Blackburn in New York

NEWS: Paul Blackburn’s return from the IL is on hold due to a lower back issue.
IMPACT: Medium
BHQ SPIN: Blackburn had been expected to start last night in Toronto, but now it’s not clear when he will be able to rejoin the Met rotation. In Blackburn’s absence, the Mets turned back to Tylor Megill, who had been taking Blackburn’s turns in the rotation after the righty hit the IL with a hand issue. Megill responded with a sterling effort: six shutout innings, allowing one hit, two walks and striking out nine. For now, we’ve dropped Blackburn’s playing time projection to 8% and bumped Megill’s projection to 7.5%.
