NEWS: OF Victor Mesa Jr. (hamstring) has made back-to-back starts in right field since being activated from the 10-day injured list September 1.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: The first of those starts came against a left-handed pitcher, though that may have just been a way to free up OF/IF Ryan Vilade to give 1B Jonathan Aranda a day off. Still, Mesa should be a regular against right-handed pitching, which will most directly affect OF Jonny DeLuca who had been enjoying a steady diet of playing time against RHP in Mesa’s absence.
