Moncada returns to White Sox lineup

NEWS: Chicago activated 3B Yoán Moncada from the injured list and optioned LF Corey Julks to Triple-A Charlotte.
IMPACT: Medium
BHQ SPIN: Moncada has been out since early April with an adductor strain. He had a 17-game rehab assignment before joining the Sox for their West Coast trip as the starting 3B. He often has been injured in his career and will likely become a free agent in 2025 as Chicago will most likely turn down his $25 million club option. Miguel Vargas has been the team’s starter at third since it acquired him at the trade deadline, but he has hit just .112 with 1 HR and 5 RBI over 98 AB.
