Puk injury means more saves for Martinez

Arizona Diamondbacks
NEWS: Arizona placed left-handed reliever A.J. Puk on the 15-day IL with left elbow inflammation.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: Puk is set to undergo an MRI on Monday, after which a timeline for his return will become clearer. The southpaw leads the Diamondbacks with 4 saves, so a lengthy absence would greatly impact their bullpen hierarchy. With Puk (-1% PT) heading to the IL, the club decided to shake up the rest of the bullpen, optioning Joe Mantiply (-1.5%) and Bryce Jarvis (-0.5%) while recalling Drey Jameson and selecting J.P. Feyereisen (+2.5%) and Juan Morillo (+2.5%). Justin Martinez will see the majority of save opportunities with Puk on the shelf.
