NEWS: Baltimore placed RHP Grayson Rodriguez on the 15-Day IL with right shoulder inflammation and reinstated LHP John Means from the 15-Day IL.

BHQ SPIN: Rodriguez, fresh off of a mention as a possible hidden injury in this week’s Speculator column, reportedly felt soreness in his right shoulder on Tuesday morning after his start on Monday night. More clarity on an exact diagnosis and the length of Rodriguez’s absence should be known over the next several days as he undergoes additional testing but for now, the team is stating that the IL stint is “precautionary”.
