New manager, new life for Tyler Greene in St. Louis?

"Tyler Greene (2B, STL) enters camp with at least a piece of second base as his to lose." So reads a portion of a recent article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch about the player who, despite posting a .323/.422/.579 line at Triple-A Memphis, never really got a chance in 2011 after some early season struggles under Tony La Russa.

New manager Mike Matheny, however, has indicated he will give Greene an opportunity to play regularly. If Greene can maintain the leg up he has been given, he could be an intriguing low-cost option. Not only does Greene have above-average speed and stolen-base skills (19-for-21 at Memphis), but he also flashed a 164 PX in 226 second-half...
