Athletics | Bartolo Colón placed on disabled list
The Oakland Athletics have placed SP Bartolo Colón (groin) on the 15-day disabled list because of a left groin strain. The move is retroactive to Tuesday, Aug. 13. Colon suffered the injury while throwing on flat ground Friday, Aug. 16. In a corresponding move, SP Tommy Milone has been recalled from Triple-A Sacramento to start against the Cleveland Indians Sunday, Aug. 18.  Source: MLB.com - Jane Lee
