On the surface, Dempster's most recent start—a 7 IP scoreless effort vs. BOS last Friday—along with a 22 IP June scoreless streak hadn't hinted of any problems. But Dempster's Dom has dropped monthly from 10.2 to 7.2 to 4.9 in June, indicating that things weren't as they seemed.
