Jansen out with irregular heartbeat

Closer Kenley Jansen (RHP, LA) was unavailable for Wednesday's game and is out indefinitely with an irregular heartbeat, the team announced. Jansen also suffered this malady last season and missed four weeks; this is a similar situation.

Jansen grabbed the closer's role in late April and has excelled with numbers that in many respects were better than 2011. He's cut his Ctl to 3.0, his Cmd has risen to 4.5 to go along with a 2.54 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 174 BPV. How long he'll be sidelined is unknown, but many late-season saves races could hang in the balance.

Ronald Belisario (RHP, LA) picked up the save Wednesday, and is likely to be in the mix along with Brandon League (RHP, LA)...
