Does Capps' activation threaten Perkins' job?

MIN has activated Matt Capps (RHP, MIN) from the 15-day disabled list, and he'll re-join a bullpen that has experienced a shift in power. Glen Perkins (LHP, MIN), originally stuck in a ninth-inning timeshare with Jared Burton (RHP, MIN), has run away with the closer's role over the past month and a half, a prospect many at BaseballHQ.com surmised would happen at some point this year. 

Perkins' BPV hasn't slipped below 100 during any month this season, and a dip in Ctl from 3.1 to 2.2 has resulted in an excellent 4.4 Cmd to complement his already elite Dom. If we were to nitpick, a GB% decline from 50% in 2011 to 42% is something to watch, but the overall body of work...
