PLAYING TIME: Jennings return set for Tuesday

Jennings return squeezes Matsui in TAM

Per all of the indications coming out of TAM and the twitter-sphere, Desmond Jennings (OF, TAM) is scheduled to be activated Tuesday and occupy his starting spot as the Rays leadoff hitter in LF for the first time in almost a month. Prior to spraining his knee, Jennings had been something of a disappointment production-wise, as his 3 HR, 76 PX and .265/.240 BA/xBA suggest. But he had stolen 8 bases, and if healthy, his 168 Spd says there is more where that came from. In spite of the fact that Jennings owners have seen little of the power he flashed in 2011—10 HR, 118 PX in 127 AB—he becomes a must-activate in almost all leagues.
