Boston Red Sox SP Jon Lester is dealing with poor mechanics that have been apparent in his last five starts, during which he has an 0-3 record and a 6.90 ERA. He met with manager John Farrell and pitching coach Juan Nieves on Wednesday, June 12. The manager cited Lester's lack of command of his four-pitch mix, particularly his four-seam fastball, as a source of his struggles.
