BHQ take: The Volquez disaster has picked up steam in the 2H, as suggested by the 6.98/4.80 ERA/xERA combo. Given that he can no longer to be counted on to eat innings, the Padres are washing their hands of this free-agent-to-be. No word yet as to who will replace Volquez in the rotation, given that reliever Brad Brach has been recalled for the open roster spot. But guessing along with the Padres, it could be Tim Stauffer, who had his longest and best...
