Yankees | Mark Teixeira has strained wrist
New York Yankees 1B Mark Teixeira (wrist) has been diagnosed with a strained right wrist, and he'll miss eight to 10 weeks.  Source: YES Network - Jack Curry

BHQ take: This unfortunate turn of events will cost Teixeira approximately two months of the season, and brings into question how much power he will be able to provide after the tendon heals in his right wrist. Yankee fans will have to hope that his recovery generates more loft in his swing, and a return to a 45+% fly ball percentage.  —Matt Dodge
