Angels | Jered Weaver to DL
The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim placed SP Jered Weaver (elbow) on the 15-day disabled list with a broken left elbow Tuesday, April 9, and recalled RP Dane De La Rosa from Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move. P Andrew Taylor (shoulder) was also transferred to the 60-day DL.  Source: The Sports Network
 
BHQ take: It's Weaver's non-throwing arm, so there's optimism that he'll be good to go sooner than later. The 30-year-old De La Rosa touts a 10.5 K/9 in 214 IP out of the pen from 2010-2012 in the minors, but he's coughed up 15 runs in 12...
