Dodgers | Kenley Jansen placed on DL
Los Angeles Dodgers RHP Kenley Jansen (heart) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Friday, Aug. 10, because of an irregular heartbeat. The team also recalled SHP Pat Venditte from Class AAA Oklahoma City.  Source: MLBRosterMoves
 
BHQ take: Early reports have Jansen missing about a month for treatment. In his absence, the early speculation among LA beat writers is that Scott Alexander and Kenta Maeda are the early favorites for saves—and in fact Alexander picked up the first non-Jansen save opportunity on Aug. 10 vs. COL. We’ll stay on this as we see what unfolds....
