NEWS: Jose Altuve to the 10-day IL with an oblique injury

BHQ SPIN: Altuve reportedly strained his oblique in batting practice on Tuesday, and Houston has elected to shut him down for the rest of the first half. As we saw during Altuve’s season-opening IL stint, expect Mauricio Dubón to man 2B, while Chas McCormick/Corey Julks/Jake Meyers time-share LF and CF. We’ll hold off on projecting any playing time changes until we see if Altuve’s absence will extend to the other side of the All-Star break.
