NEWS: Chicago announced that RHP Javier Assad will remain in the starting rotation and LHP Drew Smyly is moving to the bullpen.

BHQ SPIN: Assad, who has spent most of the season in Chicago’s bullpen, was called upon to replace the injured Marcus Stroman in Chicago’s rotation last Saturday. On Wednesday, Chicago announced that Assad will make his next turn in the rotation and that Smyly has been moved to the bullpen. We’ve adjusted our projections accordingly, moving a portion of Smyly’s projected innings to Assad. Smyly is expected to remain in the bullpen for at least for one turn through the rotation as the team will use four-man rotation during a stretch of three off-days in the span of eight days....
