Cubs | Jorge Soler to DL, Albert Almora called up
Chicago Cubs OF Jorge Soler (hamstring) was placed on the disabled list after an MRI exam showed a strained hamstring Tuesday, June 7. OF Albert Almora has been called up from Class AAA Iowa in a corresponding move. The Cubs are saying Soler will be out for at least 15 days, and they won't know more about his timetable until they see how he progresses in his rehab. Almora was hitting .318 with a .779 OPS in 54 games for Iowa.  Source: ESPN.com - Jerry Crasnick
