NEWS:  Tyler O’Neill (OF, STL) heads to IL with an injured hamstring; Dylan Carlson reinstated.

BHQ SPIN:  O’Neill has been solid over the past month (84 AB, .264 xBA, 166 xPX) as the everyday CF replacement for Carlson. While Carlson could resume his role in CF, this could alternatively provide an opportunity to get Alec Burleson some extra opportunities – although he has struggled up to this point (20 AB, .150/.227/.192). If Burleson can get his bat going, he could force a strong-side platoon role alongside Carlson.
