NEWS: Milwaukee signed rookie OF Jackson Chourio to an eight-year deal.

IMPACT: Medium

BHQ SPIN: After being rumored to be in sell mode, the Brewers sign their top prospect to a long-term deal after only 6 games in AAA-Nashville. This could mean Chourio breaks spring camp with the team and assumes his spot in the Brewers outfield. The team have plenty of options after OF Christian Yelich and Chourio with OF Joey Wiemer, OF Tyrone Taylor, OF Garrett Mitchell, OF Sal Frelick, and OF Blake Perkins all in the mix. The Chourio signing likely decreases the playing time for most of them and could also open up some trades from the team’s outfield options.
