Rockies | Nick Hundley out for season
The Colorado Rockies have placed C Nick Hundley (neck) on the 60-day disabled list due to a cervical strain in his neck and he will miss the remainder of the season. In a corresponding move, the contract of C Tom Murphy has been selected from Class AAA Albuquerque.  Source: MLB.com
 
BHQ take: Ostensibly signed by COL in January as a platoon mate for Michael McKenry, Hundley turned out to be one of the better free-agent signings of 2015. He set lifetime bests in hits and two-baggers and near-bests in virtually every other meaningful statistic while feeling frisky enough...
