Yankees | Edwin Encarnación placed on IL
New York Yankees 1B Edwin Encarnación (wrist) was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday, Aug. 3, because of a fractured right wrist. The team also recalled 1B Mike Ford from Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.   Source: MLBRosterMoves
 
BHQ take: Encarnacion will be evaluated in 7-10 days, when hopefully the swelling will have subsided and the team can design a rehabilitation program.
