| BHQ take: Engel, a starter for the Sox last year, had a rough start for 2019, hitting just .212 (.189 xBA) with one HR and four RBI in 52 AB for a -36 BPV. Mgr Rick Renteria said Engel has the glove, but needs to work on his hitting. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Renteria wants Engel to get on base around 33 percent of the time and hit around .250.
