NEWS: San Francisco signed outfielder Jung Hoo Lee to a six-year, $113M contract that includes an opt-out after four years.

They acquired the 25-year-old, left-handed-hitting Lee by signing him after seven years with the  Kiwoom Heroes of the KBO. During his time in Korea, Lee slashed .340/.407/.491 while playing above-average defense in center field. His 2023 was ruined by an ankle injury, but prior to that, he won the KBO MVP Award in 2022, batting .349 with 23 homers and 113 RBI.
