Rays | Tyler Glasnow placed on injured list
The Tampa Bay Rays placed RHP Tyler Glasnow (forearm) on the 10-day injured list Saturday, May 11, due to a mild right forearm strain. In a corresponding move, SS Andrew Velazquez has been recalled from Class AAA Durham.  Source: MLB.com - Juan Toribio
 
BHQ take: At this juncture, Glasnow is expected to miss four-to-six weeks, as no surgery is anticipated. The Rays' plans are not yet specifically clear for covering Glasnow's absence ("regular" starter versus "opener"), but the four "bulk" pitchers named below are expected to pick up the innings shortfall.
