BHQ take: The timely DL stint was due for Gomez, who was hitting .182 with no HR over his first 121 AB, his BPIs mostly way down and showing no signs of life. Regardless of how much this is due to a legit injury, Gomez will spend some rehab time in the minors in an effort to jumpstart his bat. In the meantime, GM Jeff Luhnow suggested that Jake Marisnick will see more regular AB, though we suspect he'll have a...
